Blushin'

Whats better then a single blush? A duo blush!

Never before have I fallen so quickly in love with as I did with this here beauty, 

and my God did I fall! 

Despite having this blush since the Boxing Day sales last year, it hasn't been until recently, as I've attempted to hold onto the last dredges of summer, that it has been elevated to top position in my collection, a position I can't see it loosing anytime soon thats for damn sure! Firstly, lets talk the basics shall we? This powder blush duo includes two 2g blushers, Katie and Ambition. Thats smaller then the average powder blush from illamasque, being 6g, but trust me, you don't miss it! Now lets really get into it!

Packaging

Unfortunately, I've never been a fan of Illamasque packaging, big black and bulky, not something that I would call classy? BUT it does have a couple of pros - firstly its super light weight, so its not going to weigh down your handbag to much if you need it for quick touch ups! Second, its sturdy, crazy serious here, I dropped it on a tiled floor and not even a scratch.  Just for that - it gets a thumbs up!

Shades

Katie is a pale blue-toned cool pink (that in the right like almost looks lavender) that looks perfect on my super fair face - its perfect for a natural look, when your running out the door and just want a flush of colour this is the colour you want! Its also matte. 

Ambition is defiantly the most neutral shade, its a deeper, dustier pink with faint gold flecks throughout - warmer the Katie, making it more universal! It works with my pale skin, albeit with a light-handed application, but could 100% suit those of darker skin tones!

Performance

Pigmentation got me on cloud nine yall! The hype hasn't been misplaced! The first time I applied them, I looked like a clown I had that much product in my brush....but I have learnt from that trust me - you need the LIGHTEST dabb on each blush to fully flush your cheeks! This is a definite plus - as it means the product lasts for ages! There also long-lasting, so you don't have to worry about it fading through out the long day, especially useful when you don't really have the time in the day to fuss over your face!

Heathers Tips

While you can use these blushes on there own and they will look beautiful, I like to use a blendy approach, using Katie on the apples of my cheeks and Ambition just below it, sort of like a contour but higher up! I find it lights up my face and gives it a bit of colour without making it look like I've got to much going on. Give it a whirl! 

Overall?

If your a fair-faced beauty like me - buy it, trust me, especially if your looking at trying Illamasque's products, its a cheaper way to buy more! But if your a bit darker then me, I would recommend just buying Ambition, no sense in wasting your money guys!
